Nintedanib, marketed under the brand names Ofev and Vargatef, is an oral medication used for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and along with other medications for some types of non-small-cell lung cancer. Common side effects include abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Uses:
This medication is used to treat a certain lung disease (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis- IPF). This disease scars and stiffens your lungs, making it hard to breathe. Nintedanib may help slow down the worsening of your IPF.
